On the onset, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to each one of you for your unwavering support to CSE over the years which has played a pivotal role in shaping the school to where it stands today. CSE has grown to become a place of acceptance, learning and growth for every student.
CSE has indeed achieved many milestones since its humble beginnings in 1992. The school has come a long way and is a living testament to the dedication and commitment of the School Management Committee and the community over the years. The present committee is also committed in continuing the relentless efforts of the predecessors. The recent upgrades and renovation marks a new chapter in CSE’s journey to empower the students in the best way possible. CSE now offers the best and state of the art infrastructure in every area of the child’s training and learning at CSE. All the therapy rooms have been equipped with the latest and most advanced equipment that are at par excellence and meets with all the highest standards.
CSE is a second home for our students where they are nurtured and cared. CSE hopes to see each student thrive and grow to reach their fullest potential.
CSE is constantly inspired by the resilience and love shown by the community and all stake holders, to make a difference, ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to reach new heights.
CSE will continue its efforts to build a school that nurtures and celebrates each child’s strength and prepare them for a better tomorrow.

At Care and Special Education (CSE), we firmly believe that education is not defined by limitations, but by possibilities. It is a powerful force that nurtures confidence, builds independence, and enables every learner to discover their unique strengths. The theme of this edition of the CSE Newsletter, “Teach to Reach – Expanding Possibilities,” resonates deeply with our vision and purpose.
Teaching in the field of special education goes far beyond conventional classroom practices. It is an act of compassion, patience, and unwavering belief in the potential of every child. At CSE, our educators and support teams work with dedication and sensitivity to ensure that learning is personalised, inclusive, and meaningful. Their commitment allows each learner to progress at their own pace, celebrate achievements, and develop essential life skills.
As part of the Indian Schools in Oman, CSE reflects the core values of holistic education, cultural sensitivity, and community responsibility. We take pride in being a centre that not only addresses educational needs but also focuses on emotional well-being, social development, and dignity of every individual. The progress we witness each year is a result of the collective effort of teachers, parents, administrators, and the School Management Committee working together with a shared purpose.
Expanding possibilities also requires us to continuously evolve. The CSE School Management Committee remains committed to strengthening infrastructure, promoting professional development, and adopting innovative, research-based practices. By embracing modern methodologies and assistive technologies, we aim to enhance learning experiences and prepare our students for greater independence and participation in society.
Our partnership with parents is an integral part of this journey. Their trust, cooperation, and active involvement play a vital role in reinforcing learning beyond the classroom. Together, we create a supportive ecosystem where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore their abilities.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire CSE team for their tireless efforts, compassion, and professionalism. Your work has a lasting impact not only on our students but also on the families and the wider community. I also thank our well-wishers and supporters for standing by CSE and contributing to its continued growth.

*My CSE Journey*
My journey with, at and for Care and Special Education (CSE) started 30 years ago.
CSE carriage then was limited to one room with 18 students, a Clinical Psychologist, a Special Educator, a Volunteer and 5 dedicated Committee Members.
Slowly co-passengers started joining, and we added carriages spreading into adjoining rooms. We on boarded Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Physiotherapist, Counselor, many Special Educators and of course very dedicated volunteers. We were able to cater to larger number of students, with added facilities.
That made us grow more, and aspire for far more for our dear students. We are a happy team. Besides the regular curriculum, we celebrate and enjoy together all Festivals, Concerts, Sports Days, Exhibitions, Mother’s Day, and every notable occasion, with full enthusiasm. Many of our past students, parents, volunteers, staff, well-wishers and of course SMC members, have maintained a close relationship, even after years of their departure.
CSE is a big joyful growing family on an onward ambitious journey.
Every day of this journey reaches the glorious destination of CSE – Contentment, Satisfaction and Excitement!

We also prepare potential students for primary education by identifying and nurturing their strengths and guiding them through a structured curriculum to ensure success.
Additionally, we emphasize independent living skills, equipping students to become self-sufficient while integrating into the broader community. Our prevocational and vocational training provides children with the essential skills needed to enhance their independence and employability, empowering them to become confident, contributing members of society.
As passionate advocates for inclusion, we strive to prepare each child for a seamless transition into society as early as possible. This commitment involves not only equipping children with essential skills but also fostering community awareness to create an inclusive environment.
We recognize that parents are our vital partners in this journey. By empowering families with knowledge and resources, we extend learning and development beyond the classroom, enriching the entire family and fostering confidence and resilience.
